Luna Luna: The Art Amusement Park
In the late 1980's, more than 30 of the era’s most acclaimed artists – including Jean-Michel Basquiat, David Hockney, Roy Lichtenstein, Salvador Dalí, and Keith Haring – designed unique and fully operational fairground attractions specifically for the original park, including rides, interactive sculptures, games, performances, and music.
Each artist’s contribution is documented in photographs that show the artist at work, giving access to rare artworks that have not been widely viewed in 35 years.
